Dear readers of sport & beauty. For sure you’d agree with me if I said that talking about Italian girls equals to talking about beauty. So much so that today’s installment is going to be dedicated to the beautiful Italian model Eva Riccobono. Eva is one of the most promising members of the new breed of Italian models currently trudging the catwalks around the whole world. Despite her youth, Eva has already walked for top fashion designers such as Valentino, Gianfranco Ferrè, Ungaro, and Dolce & Gabbana and has graced the covers of a number of fashion magazines. But Eva is not only a beautiful face and a statuesque body as she’s also a singer, TV presenter and actress. Dear friends let me introduce you the gorgeous Italian model Eva Riccobono. Here you are. Pay attention to the first picture. I have no words to describe her beauty.
Italian model Eva Riccobono was born on February 7, 1983 in Palermo, Sicily. The daughter of an Italian father and a German mother, Eva has three older sisters and a had also a brother who died when she was very young. Being only fourteen years old, Eva was discovered by Italian photographer Luca LoBosco and when she was seventeen she was considered the new Laetitia Casta by Italian magazine “Corriere della Sera” due to the amazing resemblance of Eva’s face with that of the beautiful French model. From then on, she became one of the most important Italian models and started to live between Milan, New York, Paris, Barcelona, Berlin, London, Rome, Tokyo, and Los Angeles.
In 2001 Eva Riccobono signed for Women Management and made her debut on the catwalk walking for Alberta Ferretti, Blumarine, Gianfranco Ferrè, Lancetti, and Trussardi. In 2002 Eva posed for L’Oreal calendar and signed an exclusive contract with Dolce & Gabbana to participate together with Naomi Campbel in the Italian fashion giant ad campaigns and fashion shows. Eva has repeatedly said that she’s closely tied to this Italian fashion brand that launched her to fame. Besides, she was exclusively signed to walk in Paris for Emanuel Ungaro and Valentino. Also in 2002 Eva tried her luck on TV as the co-host of the show “Stasera pagoIo” together with Rosario Fiorello. Here you are Eva’s data and measurements:

Eva soon became one of the favorite models of fashion designers such as Giorgio Armani, Chanel, Gianfranco Ferrè, Emanuel Ungaro, Fausto Sarli, and Valentino walking in the world’s most important fashion capitals such as New York, London, Milan, and París. Besides being a queen of the catwalk she has often appeared in the cover of the most important fashion magazines like Vogue, Elle, Numéro, Flair, Marie Claire, Vanity Fair, L'Officiel, Cosmopolitan, GQ, and Max amongst others and has been photographed by a great many fashion photographers like Patrick Demarchelier, Mario Testino, Steven Meisel, Gilles Bensimon, Annie Leibovitz, Juergen Teller, and Miles Aldridge. In 2003 Eva posed for the renowned Pirelli calendar, starred in Lanceti, Sonia Rykiel and Dolce & Gabbana (photographed by Mario Testino) ad campaigns and appeared in the cover of “Elle” France and “Vogue” Portugal.
Recognized as one of the best international models, Eva worked ceaselessly between 2003 and 2009 walking for many fashion brands and posing for countless ad campaigns. Together with her close friend Mariacarla Boscono, Eva is one of Italy’s highest paid models making up to 20000€ per day of work. In 2004 she appeared in a short film called “Eva” shot in a loft overlooking the Hudson River in New York and premiered in that year’s Milan Fashion Week. Still in 2004 Eva starred in ad campaigns for Gianfranco Ferrè, Chanel Make Up, and la Perla. The following year she became a spokesperson for “Celine” and graced the covers of “Vogue” Japan and “L’Officiel” Russia appearing in a “Model Moment” dedicated to the world’s most important top models being interviewed at a Dolce & Gabbana’s fashion show backstage.
In 2007 Eva became a spokesperson for Hybris and in 2008 she tried her luck as an actress being casted for the role of Blanche Duval in Carlo Verdone’s film “Grande, grosso e Verdone”. In 2009 Eva appeared in the Lavazza calendar alongside other Italian models like Elettra Rossellini and with pictures shot by the famous American photographer Annie Leibovitz. Eva is one of the models that appeared in the cover of the calendar in a picture taken in an empty Venice’s San Marco square. In March she appeared in the cover of “Playboy” Italy and in an interview she and her boyfriend (Italian DJ Matteo Ceccarini) gave to Italian maganize “A” later that year, Eva announced that she temporarily gave up the catwalk to try her luck as a singer launching “Labbra” a song inspired in the seventies French chanson with a kind of a bohemian touch.
Fortunately Eva kept on working in ad campaigns and in 2010 she starred in “Made in Italy” and Design by Enzo Fusco Spring ad campaigns. In April 2010 she signed a contract with D’management Group (also representing models such as Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, and Eva Herzigova amongst others) leaving Women Management Milan. Finally in November Eva appeared in an editorial for “Harper’s Bazaar” Japan. In February 2011 the Italian model appeared in the cover and a controversial editorial for “Max” and starred for the fourth time in the 2011 Valentino Handbags Spring ad campaign and for Design by Enzo Fusco campaign. To finish today’s article we’ll leave you a slideshow with some of the best Eva’s pictures and some videos where you can see her alive and kicking. In the second video you can see her singing the son “Labbra”. You’ll agree with me that she’s a gorgeous woman, an outstanding model but she leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to singing. Best regards.
